PREMIERE Zoster releases new single "I'm Not Expecting a Prize"

Bosnian-Herzegovinian band Zoster has released a new single and video "Ja ne čepećam adragum", the fifth to announce their upcoming studio album.

The music and lyrics were written by the band's frontman Mario Knezović, while the arrangement was by Adis Sirbubalo. The song featured a guest appearance by the band's long-time collaborator Miron Rafajlović, who played trumpet, trombone and congas. Karmen Obrdalj was in charge of directing and producing the video.

As the band said, the new song addresses the theme of giving without expecting a reward, the need for recognition, and the silent expectations that often shape interpersonal relationships.

"Behind the seemingly casual tone lies a layered story about the value of our own actions and the question of how much we are truly willing to do good without the need for confirmation," the band states.

"I'm Not Expecting a Prize" continues the series of singles with which Zoster is gradually introducing the new album, after the songs "I'm Not Turning Away, Dad", "Samo Reci Ne", "Sin Tadijin" and "Dok si spavao".

The song and video were released by the Los Angeles Agency label from Zagreb, and will be available on all streaming platforms from midnight.
