Elton John will renew his "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour for two nights to say goodbye to the Mexican audience.
The music legend will perform at the Banorte Stadium in Mexico City on October 2 and 3, after having to cancel concerts in South America in 2021 due to the pandemic.
"Mexico City has always had a special place in my heart. I was very disappointed that the pandemic prevented me from performing in the city during my farewell tour, which is why this return has a special meaning. I am thrilled to finally share this special moment with my fans," he said.
The singer retired from major touring three years ago, after completing "Farewell Yellow Brick Road," during which he played more than 300 concerts. However, he continues to work on new music, and recently revealed that he has completed a new album, created after vision problems forced him to change his creative approach.
