Montenegrin musician Anita Popović has released a new single called "Vila", which she gave to the audience on the occasion of Montenegro's National Day.
The music for the song was composed by Anita Popović, the lyrics were written by Jelena Jovetić, while the arrangement was done by Mahir Sarihodžić.
Popović said that "Villa" was created as a dedication to women.
"For me, a woman represents the personification of every country, including our Montenegro. She balances the ancient and the modern, gentle and strong. She is the pillar of every family, society and community," said Popović.
A music video was also shot for the song, directed by Vladimir Toni Pendo.
