Skunk Anansie set fire to Tjentište

Rock, punk and alternative sound marked the second day of OK Fest at Tjentište. From Porto Morto and Artan Lili, through Darko Rundek, to Skunk Anansia and Goblin, the audience enjoyed performances by artists who marked different generations of the rock scene for almost ten hours without a break.

The daily program began in the Book Zone with the promotion of Mile Kekin's book "Soundtrack for Life", while electronic music fans found their place by the pool, where DJ Jock and Mladen Tomić kept the atmosphere going throughout the day.

The music program at OK Camp was opened by the Zagreb band Porto Morto, followed by the band Artan Lili. A real boost of energy came with Ritam Nereda, whose uncompromising punk-rock performance further heated up the atmosphere ahead of the evening program on the main stage.

The audience then moved to the front of the Main Stage, where the evening was opened by the band Machina, one of the representatives of the new generation of the alternative scene.

After them, Darko Rundek took the stage, a performer who has long been one of the favorite guests of all festivals in the region. His performance this year was special because it marked the 40th anniversary of the release of the cult album "Bolero" by the group Haustor, so a significant part of the repertoire was dedicated to this release. However, the audience was not deprived of some of Haustor's greatest hits, as well as songs from Rundek's rich solo career.

Known for his social engagement and activism, Rundek did not miss the opportunity to send a message to the audience this time either. His appeals to preserve nature and treat the environment more responsibly came as no surprise, as ecological and social themes have been an integral part of his artistic expression for years.

The highlight of the evening was the performance of the British band Skunk Anansie, who brought the energy of major world festivals to the Sutjeska National Park. The charismatic singer Skin dominated the stage from the first to the last minute, and at one point she came down to the audience, further raising the atmosphere. She also attracted attention with a T-shirt with a crossed out swastika, a clear message against fascism.

The second festival night was closed by the iconic Goblins, who once again showed why they have had a loyal audience across the region for decades.

After their performance, the party continued at the OK Stage in the camp, where the music lasted until the early morning hours.

The third and final day of the Jelen OK Fest brings another diverse program. Vizelj, Miach and Bjesovi will perform at the OK camp, while performers of various genres will take turns on the main stage.

The evening will be opened by Croatian rapper Vojko V, followed by performances by American hip-hop legends Onyx, and for the first time at this festival, British soul star Josh Stone will also be performing. The curtain on this year's edition of OK Fest will be lowered by Senidah.
