Mitsune, Madmadmad, and Jarl Flamara arrive at the Great Beach

The Young Artists Festival, which will be held on August 8th at the Velika Plaza in Ulcinj, presents the first names of this year's program, and among the first confirmed names is the Japanese band Mitsune.

"The audience can expect a unique all-night experience that will, from sunset to sunrise, bring together artists of various musical expressions in the unique ambiance of one of the most beautiful natural spaces on the Adriatic." "Among the first confirmed performers is the Japanese band Mitsune, known for their original blend of traditional Japanese music and contemporary genres. Their distinctive sound, based on the tsugaru shamisen instrument, brings an energetic and unusual concert experience that blurs the boundaries between folklore, psychedelia, punk and world music expressions," the organizers announced.

"The program is joined by the British band Madmadmad, whose performances combine post-punk, electronica and art rock into an intense musical experience. The band has attracted the attention of the European music scene in recent years with its authentic sound and energetic concerts, performing at numerous festivals across Europe, as well as on the KEXP and Boiler Room platforms," ​​the statement added.

"The first announced names are completed by French artist Jarl Flamara, who will present himself to the audience with a hybrid DJ set in which he combines electronic music with live performance using various instruments. His performances are characterized by an organic approach to electronic sound, creating a dynamic and atmospheric experience that is the introduction to an all-night musical journey, which will culminate in a classical music concert at dawn," the organization added.

"This year, the Young Artists Festival continues to build a program that connects different musical styles, contemporary art, and the unique natural ambiance of Velika Plaza. In the coming weeks, other names from the domestic and international scene will be presented to complete this year's festival program," the statement recalls.

The festival is being implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Media of Montenegro and the Ulcinj Tourist Organization, and admission to the festival is free.
