Dara joins the performers at the Exit to Montenegro festival

This year's Eurovision winner, Dara, will perform at the Exit to Montenegro Sea Dance Edition festival, the event's organizers announced.

"One of the most powerful festival stories in Europe is coming to the Montenegrin coast, with the grand finale of the summer and Exit's Sea Dance Festival from August 28th to 30th on the beach in Bečići. The program is led by electronic superstars Charlotte de Witte and Hugel, and they have just been joined by one of the most popular electronic music performers of today and the creator of the recognizable high-tech minimal sound - Boris Brejcha, as well as the current Eurovision winner Dara. Her infectious single 'Banagaranga' won over audiences around the world and became one of the most recognizable hits of the year. She is joined by Portuguese techno star BIIA, one of the most influential protagonists of Berlin techno Marcel Dettmann, master of psychedelic house sound Mita Gami and New York DJ sensation Layla Benitez. The grand finale will also feature John Newman, one of the most recognizable voices of the contemporary pop scene, Enrico Sangiuliano and RPR Soundsystem, with carefully selected regional and domestic support," the organizers announced.

"At the forefront of the new wave of EXIT to Montenegro performers - Sea Dance edition performers is the masked hero of the world electronic scene Boris Brejcha, an artist whose performances at Exit have long since become part of festival history. His first performance at the Dance Arena in 2019 caused complete euphoria, and the connection between Brejcha and the EXIT audience continued into the most jubilee edition in 2025, when tens of thousands of his recognizable 'Jokerheads' filled the Arena. This time, his joker mask, futuristic sound and monumental production move to the Adriatic coast," the statement added.

"Brejcha built his own musical universe at a time when no existing genre could fully describe his sound. He called it high-tech minimal and made it a global phenomenon that today conquers the biggest festivals and arenas around the world. His sets are simultaneously precise and unpredictable, dark and playful, and his arrival in Bečići heralds one of the biggest electronic nights of the summer," Exit reminds.

"The hottest pop name in Europe is also coming to the Montenegrin coast. Dara brought Bulgaria her first victory at the Eurovision Song Contest with her infectious pop anthem 'Bangaranga', winning the votes of the audience and the expert jury at the same time. Her explosive stage energy, striking visual identity and contemporary dance-pop sound have turned her into one of the biggest new European stars, and her performance in Bečići will be her big meeting with the Montenegrin audience," the statement reads.

"The techno current of the new program is further amplified by BIIA, a name that is conquering the world rave scene at the speed of light. Her sets bring raw energy, strong rhythms of the nineties, acid, electro and her own vocals, creating a sound that is at once fierce, emotional and completely contemporary. After closing the EXIT festival 2025 program, the Portuguese star is now taking over the coast in Bečići," the Exit team added.

"The program is given special weight by Marcel Dettmann, an artist whose name is inextricably linked to Berlin, Berghain and the development of contemporary European techno. During his career of more than two decades, he has remained faithful to an uncompromising club sound, but never to a single pattern, moving from stripped-down techno and electro to house, industrial textures and unexpected musical turns. The EXIT audience remembers his performances at the Petrovaradin Fortress, and now he is bringing this authentic energy to the Montenegrin coast for the first time," the statement says.

"The psychedelic side of the program is opened by Mita Gami, a DJ, producer and multi-instrumentalist whose sets blur the boundaries between melodic house, indie dance and hypnotic club rhythms. His music is built as a journey that gradually develops, changes direction and takes the audience from the first sunset until deep into the night. In the ambience of the open sea and summer beach, his sound will get its natural festival stage," Exit says.

"Between powerful techno and melodic summer rhythms is Layla Benitez, a New York DJ star known for sets that naturally blend melodic techno, house, indie dance and dark disco. From the leading clubs of Ibiza and New York to the world's biggest festivals, her performances build an atmosphere that constantly moves between hypnotic tension and complete dance euphoria. After performing at EXIT events across Europe and the Adriatic, Layla returns to the EXIT audience at one of the most beautiful festival locations this summer," the statement explains.

"A new wave of names joins a program whose backbone already includes some of the biggest and most sought-after performers of today. Belgian techno heroine Charlotte de Witte returns to Budva at the peak of her fame, after historic performances in the heart of Genoa and a "surprise guest" in the rave capital - Tomorrowland. The world's biggest dance sensation Hugel brings to Bečići a series of planetary hits that have conquered clubs, festivals and charts around the world. The French superstar is currently burning and setting the music sky on fire with his debut album Twenty One, with absolute dominance over global Shazam - the current single 'Movin' To The Sun' is at the top of the world Shazam list, while Jamaican (Bam Bam) "holds second position, making Hugel the author of the two most searched songs on the planet at the moment," Exit added.

"Due to changes in the tour schedule, Peggy Gou will not be able to perform at the festival. After the first chapter turned the Velika Plaža in Ulcinj into a large international gathering place in early July, EXIT's journey through Montenegro continues in Budva. From August 28 to 30, the beach in Bečići will become a large open-air dance floor, where some of the world's biggest stars, the Adriatic Sea and audiences from across the region, Europe and numerous other countries around the world will come together," the statement said.

Admission to the main festival program is free with prior registration, while VIP tickets are on sale through official festival channels.
