Montenegrin hip-hop sensation Who See has three nominations at this year's Muzzik Video Awards 5G, and Mario Đorđević Noyz stands out in particular, as he is increasingly directing music videos in addition to composing music.
The duo from Kotor, consisting of Đorđević and Dejan Dedović Dedduh, has been nominated in the categories Video with a Message, Art Direction and Editing & FX, and will have three chances to win a special MUZZIK guitar, made for the winners of the Muzzik competition.
In the Video with a Message category, "Betonjerka", a collaboration with Random and Niggora, was nominated. The lyrics are by Đorđević, Dedović and Marko Lubarda, the music and arrangement by Đorđević, while the direction was taken by Vasil Vulić.
The video "Pod prozor", by Who See feat. KidAkki, for which Đorđević is the director and producer, was nominated for Art Direction. The video features numerous well-known regional names, including Sergej Ćetković, Niggor, Wikluh Sky, Ajs Nigrutin, Edo Maajka and Vojko V.
The third nomination, in the Editing & FX category, went to the song "Mediteran", Who See feat. Senidah. The video was again directed by Đorđević, while the photography was by Miodrag Marković, Ranko Razić and Darko Marjanović. The music was by Django Hi Fi.
Who See have built a distinctive blend of hip-hop, humor, satire, and visual aesthetics over more than two decades, and this year's MVA5G nominations once again confirm their breadth of writing.
