Leo Woodall makes no secret of the fact that he's a huge Oasis fan, and if he had to choose between the legendary British band and the Beatles, his choice would be clear. The star of the series "The White Lotus" and "One Day" believes that Liam Gallagher is one of the greatest frontmen of all time and without a doubt "the coolest".
Speaking to the New York Times, Woodall also recalled the musical influence the Beatles had on his family. He says his father and uncle still argue about who played the first chord on certain songs. However, when it comes to what he listens to most often, he gives Oasis the upper hand.
"But I probably listen to Oasis more. Liam Gallagher is the coolest frontman who ever lived," the actor said.
Woodall made the comments while promoting the film "Tony," in which he plays one of the leads. The film follows a young Anthony Bourdain, played by Dominic Sessa, as he spends a summer working in a restaurant kitchen in Massachusetts, as he begins to build his career as a writer and chef.
In the film, directed by Matt Johnson, Woodall plays Sal, an oyster shucking worker and hedonist who becomes an important figure in the young Bourdain's life. The restaurant's owner and head chef is played by Antonio Banderas.
