Belgrade band Mortal Kombat will hold its first solo concert in Podgorica, at the basketball court in Njegošev Park, on October 9th, and the organizers are Fest team and the Rockstrikcija festival.
"After performing at the Rockstriccija festival in 2024, Mortal Kombat returns to Podgorica, this time with a solo concert and a performance lasting more than two hours," the statement reads.
"On the scene for more than a decade and a half, Mortal Kombat, through a hard rock 'n' roll sound and direct, satirical lyrics, addresses the topics of contemporary society and everyday life in their own unique way. Their first songs already brought them an enviable number of views on YouTube, and since then, step by step and according to their own rules, they have been building their way to the top of the regional alternative scene. During their seventeen years of existence, they have released five studio albums and held a large number of concerts throughout the region," the event announcement continues.
"As support, Kamenolom, a four-member heavy metal band from Belgrade, active since 2019, is coming to Podgorica with them. The band proudly cultivates the sound of good, old and honest heavy metal, while in its songs it deals with various topics, often viewed through the prism of Slavic mythology," the statement added.
Tickets are on pre-sale via the website mytickets.me, priced at 12 euros, while on the day of the concert they will cost 15.
