Stevan Faddy: I ​​decided to try myself as a "singer for lovers"

Montenegrin musician Stevan Faddy, despite his long-standing career that has lasted since 2003, will sing for the first time on Tuesday for Valentine's Day. Until now, he has mostly spent the mentioned holiday with his better half, however, this year he will sing to lovers at the Hilton Hotel.

"Until this year, I never had the opportunity to sing for lovers, however, considering that I see that my colleagues really love this date and that even proposals happen at their concerts and performances, I decided that I should also try my hand as a singer for lovers'", joked Faddy, who does not hide that he would like a proposal to happen at his performance that evening.

"I hope that there will be at least one brave guy who will make the evening even more beautiful not only to his chosen one, but also to all of us with a proposal. Although, today it's the girls who have the main say, so maybe there will be one who will take matters into her own hands that evening and ask an important question to her chosen one. It seems like I'm a matchmaker, but that night we're celebrating love, and I love when people love each other and show it," joked Faddy, adding that he would be happy if it happened again at his performance.

"I have already chosen a track for that occasion. Namely, if a proposal happens, I would sing 'Thinking out loud' by Ed Sheeran to that couple, because that track most beautifully describes the meaning of love and affection between two people, and it is also the right one for a nice romantic dance, to which, I believe, everyone else would too. joined," Faddy points out.

He reveals that he adapted the repertoire for that evening.

"I put a special accent on the songs of Sergej Ćetković because he is a trusted name when it comes to celebrations like this. Although the repertoire will not differ too much, because they are all numbers that I usually sing, only that there will be more love songs in one evening," he emphasizes.

For him, Valentine's Day has no special significance.

"Every moment spent with a loved one should be celebrated, not just Valentine's Day.

Lovers do not need many reasons to celebrate, they see a reason in a kiss, a touch. Although certainly a holiday dedicated to that wonderful feeling should be set aside and dedicated to a loved one," concludes Faddy.
