In the last days of 2016, Montenegrin musician Nina Petković used the opportunity to release a New Year's single and music video - the song "Nova godina" for which the lyrics and music were composed by Bojan Momčilović (guitarist in Nina's band) and the singer, while Miha Radonjić was in charge of the arrangement.

"The song is cheerful, New Year's, with a message to start a better tomorrow, more precisely, that with the New Year, better days will come, both for us and for the whole world," says Nina, adding that she enjoyed filming the video.

"It was really incredibly wonderful in my town, on the Pine waterfront, whether it was because it was Christmas Day and Christmas was expected - it was magical! I will use the opportunity to thank all the people who participated in the video, both those we planned and those who joined us on the set unplanned, without any problems. I have to praise myself and honestly say that I am very proud of my fellow citizens, my dear citizens of Tiv, who organized themselves in a few hours, some on the spot and contributed to the atmosphere; they showed what the spirit of the people of Tiv really is, that they are always cheerful, benevolent and ready for any kind of help", recalls Petković, citing examples of the support of fellow citizens:

"At one point, I asked people from the "Propela" coffee bar to come out so that we could film the scene on the waterfront, and they all came out, even though it was very cold... there were even guests, a group of guys from Podgorica - who were ready for action and is happy to join the shoot. There were also foreigners among the extras. For me, this was one of the most beautifully spent Christmas Eves, it was so beautiful that when I woke up the next morning, I wasn't sure if I had dreamed," admits Nina.

She believes that this video evokes the winter magic that Tivat breathes.

"The filming of the video took longer, because we waited for all the decorations that were ordered for our city to arrive, so that we could show them in the video. I would also like to thank our utility company, which met me in every matter, for providing electricity in places where we did not have lighting; and also on the excellent job done in terms of decorating our city," she pointed out.

The video was shot by Zoom production from Nikšić and Zoran production from Tivat.
