Actress Robin Wright She revealed, while visiting the Monte-Carlo TV Festival, that she had to take several salaries to match her colleague's fee. Kevin Spacey in the series "House of Cards".

She says she had to fight for equal pay while working on that Netflix project, and was told that as an actress she could not expect equal pay, but she achieved it thanks to additional engagements as a director, producer, and artistic director.

"They told me: We can't give you the same fee, but to make it equal, we'll allow you to work as an executive producer, you'll also be able to direct, so you'll have three salaries in total," the actress recounted.

In the same conversation, she revealed that the director David Fincher predicted the development of technology, as well as streaming platforms.

“He told me this was going to be our future. That we were going to break through the streaming platforms and it was going to be revolutionary. And look where we are now,” says Wright, who still has a certain amount of trepidation about Artificial Intelligence (AI) out of fear that it could take jobs away from people in the film industry.

"I'm very scared for our industry, but I'm divided when it comes to AI. On the one hand, I know it can be incredibly helpful in the medical world, but in all other fields, people will lose their jobs," she believes, adding that she's not worried about actors.

"When I'm asked if I'm afraid he'll take on acting jobs, my answer is no, because I don't believe he'll ever be able to create emotion in his eyes," the actress explains.
