Singer Mark Anthony has spoken out for the first time since the Beckham family came into the media spotlight due to family disputes.
A longtime friend of David and Victoria Beckham has addressed the tensions between the famous couple and their eldest son Brooklyn, describing the situation as "unfortunate", but still stressed that he is not interested in "adding fuel to the fire".
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Mark spoke favorably about the Beckham family, claiming that the narrative in the media does not reflect reality, that is, what happens behind closed doors.
"I have nothing to say about what's happening to that family. They're a really wonderful family. I've known them since before they had kids. I'm Cruz's best man. We're really close," Anthony said.
Although he did not want to reveal details from the wedding of Brooklyn Beckham and Nikola Pelc, at which he entertained the guests with his songs, he hinted that not all the stories circulating in the public are true.
"It's very unfortunate the way everything played out, but it's unlikely that everything that's being said is true," he pointed out.
It all started after Brooklyn, in a series of Instagram posts, accused his parents of being too controlling, hostile towards his wife, and that his mother Victoria Beckham ruined their first dance at their wedding by "dancing inappropriately with him."
