Hilary Duff has her hands full. The singer revealed that she has found a new hobby - knitting.
"Recently, after a concert, my body was just asking me to do something with my hands, so I picked up a needle and started knitting. So far, I've made a hat and a scarf. And I think it's great - it's relaxing and fun," Duf said in an interview with i-D.
The singer, who began her career as the title character in the series "Lizzie McGuire" in 2001, also recalled her professional journey:
"I'm very happy with where I am now. I've been through a lot of ups and downs in my career, and not all of them were public," Daf proudly points out, who also spoke openly about the challenges.
"There were times when I was really afraid that I wouldn't get a job again or that no one cared. I probably would have said 'no' more often than I did and believed in myself. I chose my family. All of it - the phone silence, the breaks... It was worth it for them."
Her sixth studio album, "Luck... or Something," is released on Friday, February 20, and will be followed by the "Lucky Me Tour." The album is executive produced by her husband, Matthew Koma, who also co-wrote her first single, "Mature."
Speaking about the songs on the album, Daf said:
"They refer to a relationship I had. It was brief, with someone older than me, and it wasn't illegal, but it was inappropriate, considering how long it's been since then. Everyone's guessing, but I'm not sure they're right... I think it's very nuanced and it's hard to defend some of the things that happened to me. Since I started working when I was ten, it was hard for me to develop friendships and relationships with my peers," the singer concluded.
