“Coyote Ugly” connected them forever

Twenty-five years after its premiere, the film “Coyote Ugly” has forever connected some of its stars.

Namely, Piper Perabo says that even after all these years, she still keeps in touch with her colleagues from the film, including Bridget Moynahan, who played the bartender Rachel.

Perabo, now 49, was 23 when she played Violet Sanford, an aspiring singer-songwriter who moves to New York to pursue her dreams while working as a waitress at the bar "Coyote Ugly."

"I saw Bridget Moynahan recently. There was a big art fair in Los Angeles, and we were looking at paintings together. It's not quite the same as the days when we were making the movie that brought us together," said the actress, who is currently the face of Bliss Fab Girl Firm Body Firming & Contouring Cream.

“She's here for the shoot. So I asked her, 'Do you want to go look at the pictures?' And she said, 'Yes.'” she added.

In 2025, Perabo told The Hollywood Reporter that "things are moving" when asked about a possible sequel to "Coyote Ugly." She noted that some people who didn't believe audiences needed a sequel have since changed their minds.

“Now they say, 'Well, I want to be a part of that,'” Perabo recounted.
