Katy Perry accused of sexual harassment again

Singer Katy Perry has found herself at the center of a new scandal. Namely, after host Tina Kandelaki previously accused her of sexual harassment, actress Ruby Rose has now spoken out in the same context, making claims about an alleged incident that, according to her, took place about two decades ago in Australia.

Rose, known for her role in the series "Orange Is the New Black", made the allegations on the social network Threads, where she responded to a comment related to Justin Bieber's performance at the Coachella festival. On that occasion, she wrote that, as she claims, Katy Perry was the person who sexually assaulted her in a nightclub in Melbourne, which caused a lot of reactions on the networks.

Following the initial announcement, Rose posted a series of additional messages thanking the public for their support and explaining that it had taken her almost 20 years to speak out publicly. She noted that she had been carrying the trauma for a long time and that the decision to speak out was extremely difficult.

In later posts, she responded to comments from followers, further describing the alleged event and stating that, in her words, it was a situation that deeply shook her and left long-term consequences.

Rose also stated that she was considering or had already initiated the process of reporting to the authorities, explaining that she had previously not had the strength to do so due to fear and distrust in the system. She later announced that she had filed a report anyway and that she planned to speak publicly about the entire process and experiences.

On the other hand, Katy Perry's representative has strongly rejected the accusations, stating that the claims are "categorically false", "dangerous" and "irresponsible", and that the singer has repeatedly denied similar allegations.

This is not the first time Perry has faced allegations of inappropriate behavior. In addition to presenter Tina Kandelaki, singer Josh Kloss also claimed that he experienced inappropriate behavior on set during the filming of the video for the song "Teenage Dream." Additionally, Perry has previously been criticized for an incident on the show "American Idol", when she kissed a contestant during an audition without prior warning, which some of the public considered an unpleasant experience.
