"Euphoria" star Barbie Ferreira has revealed that she starred in a Beyonce music video that was ultimately scrapped.
In the podcast "In Your Dreams", the actress said that about three and a half years ago she participated in the filming of the video for the song "Thique".
"It's never going to come out. I finally accepted it. It was the video for 'Thique' and it was really good, but I've come to terms with the fact that no one will ever see it. But I still tell people that I was in Beyonce's video," Ferreira said.
She added that people didn't believe her at first. According to her, the video was directed by visual artist Nadja Lee Cohen, and the project reportedly also featured Shaygirl, Carmen Electra, and Megan Thee Stallion.
"It was a team of 'glamorous women,' so to speak," she joked, describing the atmosphere on set.
Ferreira also said that she later met Beyonce, and was even invited to her birthday party, which was a special experience for her.
"It was at an ice rink, and the guest list was incredible. When I walked in, I thought, 'Everyone here is so relaxed,'" she recalled.
In the same interview, she also touched on her departure from the series "Euphoria", where she played Ket Hernandez. She said that her desire was to devote more time to different roles and career development.
"If 'Euphoria' could have given me that, I would have stayed as long as it took. But it no longer gave me the space to show what I could do. And the most important thing for me is to act and progress," she said.
