Katy Perry reacted in a humorous way to the news of her ex-partner Josh Groban's engagement.
Last month, the singer, known for his hit "You Raise Me Up," announced his engagement to English stage actress Natalie McQueen after four years of dating.
Katy Perry, who briefly dated Groban in 2009, only reacted to the news later, through a funny TikTok video she posted on Monday.
In the video, she used an article about an engagement as a backdrop, while in a white bathrobe, she poured a drink into a glass, dramatically spilled it all over herself, and then jokingly "cried" and walked away.
Her song "The One That Got Away," which she previously admitted was inspired by Groban, was playing in the background.
In 2018, he spoke on "Watch What Happens Live" about Katy Perry citing him as the inspiration for the song "The One That Got Away." He said that he was surprised and found it flattering, but also unusual, noting that he didn't recognize himself in all the details of the lyrics.
Katy Perry is currently in a relationship with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
