After the world media reported that Britney Spears caused a scandal in a restaurant by screaming, barking, and waving a knife, her PR team spoke out and denied everything.
The statement addressed earlier reports that claimed the singer had been acting "chaotically" during a dinner at a restaurant. According to her representative, the seemingly ordinary situation was "completely exaggerated and taken out of context."
The singer's behavior at the restaurant drew attention after a journalist posted on social media. Jeff Snyder wrote on the X platform that he had a "CRAZY experience" while dining at a table next to Britney.
A representative for Britney Spears has denied allegations of a knife incident, claiming the entire story is “completely overblown.” According to People , the statement states that the “Princess of Pop” was out to dinner with her assistant and bodyguard.
She allegedly told them a story about her dog barking at the neighbors. The representative also claims that she “did not endanger anyone with the knife.” According to them, she was simply using it to cut up a hamburger.
"This constant attack on everything she does is exactly what happened 20 years ago when the media tried to portray Britney as a bad person. This is absurd and must stop immediately," the statement said.
Two days ago, journalist Jeff Snyder published his "wild" experience at the Blue Dog Tavern. He allegedly dined near Britney's table.
"She just left and everyone in the restaurant turned around and started talking about it. TOTALLY crazy dinner experience. One guest was afraid for her life. This is no joke," he wrote.
The alleged incident received additional attention after a TMZ report on May 14. According to their sources, the singer allegedly suddenly started "barking" and "yelling." Also, a restaurant guest allegedly said that Britney was holding a knife.
