Didi's mansion sold for $55 million

Sean Diddy Combs' luxury mansion on Miami's prestigious Star Island has been sold for $55 million.

The news comes as the music mogul is serving a 50-month prison sentence, after being convicted on two counts of arranging transportation for the purpose of prostitution.

The mansion at 1 Star Island Drive, which Combs purchased in 2021 for $35 million, was sold in a private transaction, without public advertising.

The property is located in one of the most exclusive parts of Miami Beach, and before Combs was owned by the famous music couple Gloria and Emilio Estefan. The villa has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a separate guest house and is spread over more than 4.000 square meters of land along the coast.

According to The Real Deal, the property includes a swimming pool, private dock, basketball court, spa and views of the Miami skyline. After purchasing it, Combs invested significant funds in renovating the mansion.

This is one of two properties the rapper owns on Star Island. The other mansion, at 2 Star Island, was raided during an investigation into him by agents of the US Department of Homeland Security.

Ahead of his arrest in September 2024, Combs paid off the nearly $19 million mortgage on the property so he could offer it as collateral for his bail. However, a federal judge denied his request to defend himself from prison.
