Experts claim that part of the workforce will soon become unnecessary, as robots will take over some of the jobs previously performed by humans. The labor market is changing with the development of new technologies and skills, so it is up to people to adapt.
The best economic experts gathered by the World Economic Forum brought a list of skills that will be most valued by job candidates in 2020.
They agreed that the labor market will change a lot in the next few years, so they expect the emergence of new job categories. It is precisely for this reason that the skills that future employees must have will also change.
The report "The Future of Work" revealed what these ten skills are.
Compared to the list published for 2015, the priorities have changed. In the first place, however, the ability to solve problems is listed as the most desirable skill. But a year ago, the second-ranked skill was coordinating work with others and working in a team, while now this skill is in fifth place.
In second place on the list for 2020 is thinking in critical situations, then creativity, then human resource management, coordinating work with others, emotional intelligence (it was on the list for the first time), then the ability to assess the situation and make decisions, the ability to negotiate and cognitive flexibility .
