British Ella di Rocco claims that a bath in wine relieves stress and tension after a hard day's work, and she started a business based on this.
Ella visited a spa in London that offers relaxing baths made from red Italian wine. She works in journalism, and her interests are beauty and wellness. Statistics show that 85 percent of Britons feel stress and tension, and 15 percent of them experience it every day. Also, only a third of Britons manage to find time for relaxation every day.
She decided to see if the bath together worked and shared her experience. She arrived at the spa after a long drive, and was greeted with mint tea and given a robe and slippers. After that, she enjoyed an hour and a half, starting with the care of her feet immersed in water with rose petals and lemon, followed by a scrub with aromatic red grape leaves,
It was just a preparation for the main thing, which is a bath in red wine, with which a square tub was filled. The bath was made of three types of red wine, Sangoviese (60 percent), Merlot (30 percent) and Ciliegiolo (10 percent), hot water and grape juice concentrate. During the bath, Ela drank red wine from a crystal glass, relaxing with the dim light.
She claims that this warm bath relaxed every muscle and made her feel like she was floating. Red wine improves circulation, and people who drink it prevent heart problems. Red wine also reduces stress, which negatively affects mental health, especially in the elderly.
Red wine is rich in antioxidants and protects the skin from free radicals. It also protects it from the effects of UV radiation, wrinkles and pigmentation and can be considered a skin care product. This wine helps the muscles to restore damaged cells.
It has been proven that red wine has an anti-inflammatory effect and helps people who feel joint and muscle pain. However, so far, research has mostly been based on drinking wine, not bathing in it.
The total package, which includes a bath in wine, costs 120 pounds, and the session lasts an hour, reports klix.ba.
