According to a new study by Clinic Compare, the Czech Republic is the least healthy country in the world, and the first ten places are occupied by nine foundations of Eastern Europe.
After collecting data from the World Health Organization (WHO) they analyzed the consumption of alcohol, tobacco and the prevalence of obesity in 179 countries around the world.
According to the results of their analysis, the Czech Republic is the unhealthiest country in the world. Allegedly, each person in the Czech Republic drinks 13,7 liters of alcohol per year. When it comes to tobacco consumption, the Czechs are in 11th place.
The second place was taken by Russia, followed by Slovenia, Belarus, Slovakia and Hungary.
Given that nine Eastern European countries are in the top ten, this region is characterized as the unhealthiest in the world. The only exception is the USA, which shares tenth place with Lithuania.
According to their data, the most obese people are in Oceania, while the healthiest country in the world is Afghanistan, reports klix.ba.
