If you can't look in the mirror even after eight hours of sleep in the morning, then you've probably already wondered what you're doing wrong and maybe suspect that it's all just a myth. Are there really people who wake up beautiful?
Of course they do, because "beauty sleep" is real, it just needs a little help from you. Of course, the most important thing is to get a good night's sleep, but there are several other ways you can improve the quality of your sleep and wake up more beautiful in the morning:
1. Wash yourself
Before going to bed, be sure to wash your face thoroughly to remove all traces of dirt, grease and makeup from the skin. Then apply a night cream on your face, which is designed to give the skin the best care while you sleep.
The skin is rejuvenated overnight and renewed from the previous day, so proper care before going to bed is very important.
2. Sleep on your back
We know it's hard to change the way you sleep, because everyone has a favorite position in which they fall asleep the easiest. But it's worth trying to sleep on your back, because that way your face won't touch the pillow, so it won't wrinkle.
Experts also recommend that, if you don't want dark circles, raise your pillow a little or sleep on two.
The worst thing you can do is bury your head in a pillow, as this only accelerates the formation of wrinkles.
3. Choose your pillowcases carefully
If you sleep restlessly and know that, even if you fell asleep on your back, you will turn over several times during your sleep, then choose silk pillowcases. Unlike cotton, silk does not absorb as much moisture from the skin while you sleep, so your face looks fresher and healthier in the morning. And silk pillowcases are also good for your hair, as they will prevent tangling and breakage.
Change pillowcases regularly, at least twice a week, because they collect all the dirt left in the tiny pores, which can damage the skin over time.
4. Adapt your skin care to the season
The skin changes from season to season, just like during the monthly cycle. During the winter, hydration is the most important, and fatty creams are also recommended. In the warm summer months, a gel or a light moisturizing cream will suit the skin best.
5. Sleep undisturbed
There should be complete peace in your bedroom. There is no place for a TV and other electronic devices (except for alarm clocks) that could disturb your sleep.
If you want to wake up beautiful, then you need to get some sleep, and the easiest way to achieve that is in your own "dream oasis", reports Index.
