On Saturday evening, Budva will be all about British fashion, and the organizers say that everything is ready for the premiere of the creation of the iconic fashion grandmother Vivienne Westwood. The show "Everything is Connected" is at 20.30:XNUMX p.m. in front of the walls of the Old Town, and tickets and invitations, according to the organizers, have been stolen.
As announced at the press conference at the Splendid Hotel, the audience will see the spring/summer 2014 collection as well as the models for the following year, and Budva was given the honor of experiencing the premiere there.
The legendary British designer will not come to Montenegro, it was announced, but her entire team is there, led by Brigitte Stepoutis and Karla D'Amaria.
The director of the Murano Montenegro agency, which organizes the show, Olivera Milačić, stated that Budva will have the opportunity to see a real fashion spectacle, which, both technically and organizationally, is many times better than last year's show by the Italian designer Roberto Cavalli.
Thanking the Municipality of Budva and the Tourism Organization of Budva, as well as the Boka Group, without whose help the show could not be organized, Milacicka pointed out that she expects the arrival of a large number of news crews, both from the region and from Europe. Maja Rašković from TO Budva pointed out that the Westwood show in the pre-season, apart from the tourist one, has a much greater promotional effect, because this city will become a fashion center tonight. The organization of the spectacle was personally greeted by John Kennedy in front of the Boka group.
The press conference also had an organizational failure, as journalists were not provided with an English translation.
A large prefabricated tent has already been erected in front of the Old Town, and getting a ticket to this glamorous event has become a matter of prestige.
The organizers also announced a fashion show by Serbian designer Marko Mitanovski, where Severina will be a guest, which will not happen because the British designer's team did not agree with such a plan. Nevertheless, the Croatian star will attend the spectacle on Saturday.
The Vivienne Westwood fashion show was financed by the municipality of Budva with 50 euros, and TO with 20 euros.
