The Oscar ceremony has just ended, but it's not just the awarded films that are being talked about for days after the ceremony. This event exudes glamour, and the focus of the event is often on the creations that the stars of the ceremony wear on the carpet that evening.
There were those who shone in their creations, and they will be talked about for a long time, but they will also be an inspiration to many fashion connoisseurs.
"Perhaps not my top three, as far as the most beautiful creation is concerned, but, overall, the biggest impression on me was the Oscar winner, actress Michelle Yeo, because in addition to a very beautiful and simple creation, a woman who is 61 years old, her address at the ceremony, her example that it is never too late to succeed, that despite many disappointments in life, not giving up, persistence and strong will, she was deservedly awarded this greatest film award . I may have expanded the answer a bit, don't mind, but it's still my biggest impression from this night," says Montenegrin designer Milena Đurđić, who never misses the awarding of these awards.
"By the way, the most beautifully styled, in my opinion, were Lady Gaga and Cate Blanchett," adds Đurđić.
Members of the fairer sex often make mistakes when choosing the "perfect toilet", while men choose a tuxedo for the occasion. When asked if this means that it is easier for them if they go for a tuxedo as a safe option, he answers:
"It certainly happens that, in the desire to be different and, in search of a specific aesthetic for that night, they make mistakes, and sometimes even a complete failure. As for men and their styles, not only for the Oscars, but also in other similar events , nice "movements" in stylizations are noticeable, because that polygon for creative play (men's fashion) has been quite upgraded in the last five, six years, through new trends and freer fashion forms. So we have the opportunity to see, not only classic suits or tuxedos , but also different, interesting style stories, which represents a refresh on the fashion scene and an encouragement that creative innovations can go further," answers Đurđić.
At this Oscar ceremony, many members of the fairer sex walked the carpet, which this year was in the color of champagne, in white dresses. We all associate the white color with some other ceremonies, and about whether we should choose the same color for such occasions, the interviewee of the Magazine says:
"For the first time since 1961, the red carpet at the Oscars wasn't red. Instead, it was the color of champagne. This change didn't affect the level of opulence, glamour, that the movie stars displayed on the biggest night of movie art - with playful rosette details and angelic white dresses that dominated," noted Đurđić.
"I hope I'm not mistaken, that red is the color, deliberately replaced by the color of champagne, which would symbolically represent the change, the exit from the three-year planetary scourge that determined the more gloomy courses of our lives and, the magnificent celebration of victory with the inevitable champagne. On the other hand, the dominance of white the toilet is a symbol of a new beginning, in work, creation, life," the designer believes.
Most participants choose dresses from well-known fashion brands and designers. However, this does not mean that the right choice has been made because there are creations that not everyone can present.
"There were more of course. In my opinion, Rihanna i Selma Hayek they bear the 'titles' of wrongly chosen creations. Because, the styling of celebrities on the night of the Oscars, arouses special and wide attention, it is expected and should tell us something more about the world's acting stars, to send us certain messages...", according to the designer.
Often replicas and variations on the theme of red carpet dresses, not only at the Oscars, but also at other events, are the inspiration for graduation girls for that important evening.
"Copying anyone and anything is never good. It can be a kind of inspiration, a starting point, but to 'take off' someone's entire outfit and thus go to 'your' prom, means that you have not brought yourself, but something that belongs to another, improvised a copy of a celebrity. Of course, there is nothing authentic about that, especially as a designer, I am absolutely against any such approach to fashion," emphasizes Đurđić.
Her dress was worn last year at the Forbes decade celebration in Brazil by the world's top model Bruno Gadelha. Milena started building a brand outside of Montenegro with a fashion show in Dubai last year, and if she herself had been tasked with designing a creation for such an event, she reveals what it would look like:
"Designing toilets for the world's most popular actresses, for such a prestigious event, is certainly a rare opportunity for you, if you are talented, to show your designer's special, creative originality. The design solution is influenced by the film story and the role the actress played in the film, her age, character, sensibility. All of this should be expressed in a studious, careful way in a well-thought-out, beautiful symbiosis, harmony, an effective fashion story that will leave an impression," concludes Đurđić.
