Montenegrin fashion designer Milena Đurđić will be a guest at the Venice Film Festival, one of the most prominent film festivals in the world.
After guesting at the film festival in Sarajevo, Đurđić and his team will visit Venice with the aim of presenting his work, both in the sphere of fashion design and in the world of costume design.
"The invitation to be a guest on the red carpet of this extremely important event happened after last year's success in Rome, when I won the silver Oscar for contribution to fashion. After that, numerous interesting initiatives followed, and I gladly accepted this one because it is a great chance to present all what we do in Montenegro when it comes to fashion and design, and how much it can contribute to contemporary film," said Đurđić.
The Venice Film Festival takes place from August 28 to September 7.
Petar Raičević, a body art artist, is also traveling with Đurđić to Venice, who will help make her presentation impressive and authentic, in line with her previous work.
"We are already working with numerous partners to present the entire event as it should," said Đurđić.
She added that she was invited to a private workshop with Amal Kluni, which will be attended only by selected women from the world of film and art.
Đurćić pointed out that the guest appearance at the film festival in Venice is a great introduction to something interesting that she is preparing at the end of November in Podgorica.
"I have gathered a serious team and it is important to me that everything that comes out of my studio is in accordance with world standards. I look forward to sharing more information about everything soon," Đurđić concluded.
