Women with straight hair consider those with curly hair to be lucky. They don't know how difficult it is sometimes to tame unruly hair and achieve the look of beautiful and well-groomed curls.
Although curly hair can indeed look irresistibly attractive, women who struggle with this type of hair know how difficult it is to avoid moments where the hair looks disheveled, almost messy. Even the use of various serums and hair creams often does not provide the desired effect of well-groomed hair.
One of the biggest mistakes you can make if you're struggling with frizz is blow-drying your hair – this way your hair loses moisture and the result is dry, damaged and 'frizzy' hair. That's why famous hairdressers recommend 'hair plopping', a popular method of curling hair naturally that provides fantastic results.
The method is very simple: after applying conditioner to wet hair, comb it well, turn it over and wrap it in a clean cotton T-shirt. Remember, the less you 'stretch' your hair - the better. The goal of this method is to bring out your natural curls and retain moisture, which is helped by wrapping in a cotton t-shirt. Leave the hair wrapped like this for at least 40 minutes (or overnight), then loosen and let it air dry.
