Among the hundred best dishes in the world, according to the various criteria of the "Taste Atlas" portal, Bosnian kebab was at the top of the list.
Out of a possible five stars, Bosnian cevap was rated 4,2, the Sarajevo portal Dnevnik reported.
The title of best dish was won by krispy pata, or crispy pork leg, which is a popular dish in the Philippines. Italian lasagna bolognese, a favorite dish around the world, is in second position.
The third position was taken by carpaccio, the main Brazilian dish, i.e. lamb or beef roasted on a spit.
Then follow the Japanese dish hakata remen, Filipino cheçon and kare-kare, Italian pizza napolitana, Italian pasta, Thai dishes pad tai and tom yum, Chinese roast duck.
One position behind kebabs is the traditional Thai dish tai curry, and it is interesting that kebabs were better positioned than sushi and Mexican enchiladas, reports Tanjug.
The Taste Atlas website has also created an interactive map with one hundred of the best dishes in the world, where you can get more information about each dish, as well as rate it.
