Someone thinks that you can't find good kebabs outside of Sarajevo, someone claims that kebabs are a purely 'purely Serbian' thing, while others think that the best ones are "Kod Esko". And the famous chef Jamie Oliver has his own version and believes that the mixture for kebabs should be made at least a few hours before they are put on the grill or in the pan.
ingredients:
- 750 grams of ground beef
- 400 grams of minced pork
- four cloves of garlic
- two teaspoons of baking soda
- a spoonful of ground paprika
- 1 egg
- 150 milliliters of acidic water
- olive oil
- a head of onion
- a bunch of parsley
Preparation:
Place the beef and pork in a large bowl, then peel and chop the garlic. Add baking soda, paprika and spices. Add the egg and mix the mixture with your hands, then pour the sour water to combine everything.
Divide the meat into ten or 12 parts, then shape each part into a sausage - about ten centimeters long and about two centimeters wide. Place the kebabs on a greased tray, cover with foil and let them rest in the fridge. Bake them on the grill, or in a pan on the stove on medium heat, for no longer than 15 minutes.
