As long as there are peppers and tomatoes on the market stalls, it is the season of bećar, bećar paprikash or satarash. The variant that we propose to you today has a slightly different taste, which will add variety to your menu. It can be an independent meal, say with a piece of cheese, or a side dish with baked, fried or boiled meat.
ingredients:
- 1 kg of red peppers
- 500 g of tomatoes
- 2 onions
- 3-4 cloves of garlic
- 100 ml sour cream for cooking
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- a little oil and butter
<strong>Preparation: </strong>
Fry the onion in a mixture of oil and butter until translucent, add the garlic cloves, and when fragrant, add the red pepper cubes. Fry until soft, then stir in diced tomatoes. Simmer on low heat for about half an hour, so that all the vegetables soften and the water evaporates. Pour in the cooking cream, season with salt and pepper and cook for a few more minutes.
