It is necessary: 600 g steak, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon pepper, 1 teaspoon spice mixture, 2 teaspoons mustard, 1 onion, 2 dl milk, 200 g sour cream, 1,5 tablespoons flour.
Preparation: Thinly slice the steaks and lightly pound them with a meat mallet, then cut them into sticks. Season and coat with a teaspoon of mustard.
Let them stand for at least half an hour. Then fry the prepared schnitzels on heated oil on all sides until they are lightly browned, then add a finely chopped onion and pour a little water.
Simmer for about 45 minutes, adding water occasionally, until the steaks are soft.
In the meantime, stir the flour in cold milk, so that there are no lumps, add sour cream, a teaspoon of mustard and a little salt and pepper, then combine everything.
Remove the finished schnitzels from the pan, then add the mixture of milk, flour and sour cream to it and stir until it starts to boil. Then return the steaks and cook for a short time, no longer than a minute, until the steaks are combined with the sauce.
Serve warm with side dishes and salad as desired.
