Ingredients (for 2–3 people):
- 1 cup watermelon (diced)
- 1 cup melon or kiwi (diced)
- 1 banana (sliced)
- 1 handful of strawberries (halved)
- 1 handful of blueberries
- juice of 1 lime (or lemon)
- 1 tablespoon honey (or agave syrup)
- a few fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
Optional: grated ginger or a pinch of cinnamon.
Preparation:
Chop all the fruit as desired and place in a large bowl.
In a small bowl, mix lime juice, honey, and finely chopped mint (ginger/cinnamon if using).
Pour the mixture over the fruit and stir gently so it doesn't get crushed.
Cool for 15 to 30 minutes in the refrigerator before serving.
Tip:
You can add a little feta cheese if you like a sweet-savory combination.
It can also be sprinkled with a few sliced almonds.
The recipe is simple and can be adapted to what you have at home.
