Scientists have their own research and interpretations and some of them say that the key to a happy relationship is an appropriate height difference between the partners. Researchers from the University of Seoul found that the height of a partner is especially important to women. They are supposedly happier if they are in a relationship with a relatively tall man. Polish anthropologist Boguslav Pavlowski even claims that there is an ideal relationship between the heights of partners in a relationship, reports the portal 24sedam.rs.

And that's where the magic number 1,09 comes into play. Professor Pavlovski's research showed that it is ideal for a man to be 1,09 times taller than his partner. This means that a woman of 172 centimeters will be the happiest in a relationship with a man of 187 centimeters.

Professor Pavlovski believes that women's preference for tall men has something to do with evolution. Namely, height was often a symbol of health and greater reproductive potential, but also of social status.

However, when choosing a partner, listen to your heart, not mathematics, because there are examples that defy all the laws of logic and science.
