Every day of the year should be colored pink! At the end of October, the month dedicated to the fight against breast cancer, a lecture was organized in the building of the Rectorate of the University of Montenegro under the slogan "It is always the right time for an examination. Choose not to be late!". The event drew a large number of students, emphasizing the importance of early detection and regular screenings, especially among the younger generations.

The lecture was opened by the vice-chancellor for teaching, Prof. Dr. Veselin Mićanović, emphasizing the University's commitment to preserving the health of students. Dr. Sanja Lekić, director of the Institute of Oncology and Dr. Ivana Vuković they introduced the students to the importance of preventive examinations and healthy lifestyle habits, with the message that early diagnosis can increase the chances of cure in over 90% of cases.

In an emotional address, Milena Đergović shared her experience with students, motivating them to take responsibility for their health and spread awareness in their community.

The lecture was organized by the Montenegrin Association of Medical Oncologists, the Clinical Center of Montenegro, the University of Montenegro (UCG), the Student Parliament of the UCG, the Student Council of the Faculty of Medicine in Podgorica, and under the auspices of AstraZeneca.
