Crnogorski Telekom's humanitarian campaign "And you be Santa Claus" ended yesterday, by activating an incredible 150 thousand coupons through the Magenta Moments program. Thanks to the excellent response of users of this program two thousand New Year's packages it will soon be handed out to children from socio-economically disadvantaged categories of society.
Even participated in the action 30 thousand users of the Magenta Moments program, who donated their Magenta hearts, many and more than once, and he stood out among them user with as many as 103 donor coupons activated.
Let's remind you that the campaign "You too be Santa Claus" was organized with the aim of enabling Telekom service users to actively participate in New Year's gift giving. During the previous month, users of the Telekom ME application and the Magenta Moments program donated hearts, and now Telekom Magenta is "turning" hearts into funds for buying New Year's gifts for children.
New Year's packages are distributed according to the priorities of centers for social work in partnership with NGO Parents, and reach children in all Montenegrin municipalities. A part is also intended for children, beneficiaries of the program of non-governmental organizations "Center for Children's Rights" and "Pčelica", which are predominantly aimed at foster families and children from socio-economically vulnerable categories of society in rural areas of Montenegro.
In addition to New Year's packages, part of the funds collected by donating hearts is directed towards the purchase of hospital equipment for the Institute for Children's Diseases KCCG. According to IBD's priorities, the funds will be spent on the purchase of an infusion pump and accompanying medical equipment. In addition to the donation, in anticipation of the upcoming holidays, children undergoing hospital treatment at the Institute will also receive special New Year's packages.
"With over 85 thousand users of the Magenta Moments program who daily exchange hearts for numerous benefits and over 300 partners, this program is positioned not only as one of the most attractive benefit programs in Montenegro, but also as a strong channel for humanitarian actions. It is this possibility that makes us particularly proud, including the evident desire of our users to participate in the donation. At the very beginning, we did not expect that the response would reach the level of even 30 thousand users, which is why we are extremely grateful to everyone who participated and by donating their hearts contributed to brighten up the children's holidays," she pointed out.
