The company "RAMEL" doo is a family company founded in 1993 in Nikšić. This journey was started by the founder and CEO Marinko Radulović, who heads a unique team that acts proactively and actively in the implementation of all projects we have been engaged in so far.
Our company specializes in the preparation of technical documentation (development of preliminary and main projects) and the execution of high and low voltage works (electrical engineering works), design, execution and supervision of high voltage electrical installations, transmission lines, power plants and transformer stations, execution of electrical installation works in all areas of electrical engineering, low voltage installations that include video surveillance systems, fire alarm systems, structural network systems, access control systems, sound systems, multimedia, etc. In addition to the above, over the years of work, we have acquired a large number of associates abroad, so that at the moment we are importers and distributors of 90% of the equipment we offer and install. In addition to all this, the company has the appropriate permits to operate in Montenegro, and in terms of implementing standards, the company has the most modern management systems, namely: Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015, Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2015, Occupational Health and Safety Management System ISO 45001:2018. Management systems (certificates) are issued by the most prestigious company "TUV NORD CERT". We also have the Excellent SME certificate, which is awarded for excellence in business, and in addition, our company is on the white list of taxpayers every year, which shows that we regularly pay all obligations to the state and employees.
Today, after three decades, the company "RAMEL" doo has offices in Nikšić and Podgorica, workshops and warehouse space of over 6.000 m2; a specialized and modern hall for warehouse and workshop facilities of 800 m2 in total, on two floors, with all the necessary machinery and equipment for performing tasks in the field of its business (over 70 passenger and freight vehicles, specialized cranes, platforms, specialized equipment for performing simple and complex electrical works.) We would like to emphasize in particular that the volume and capacity of real estate and the mechanical and logistical part of the company are not what we emphasize, but rather our most recognizable and most representative development potential is precisely our employees, who are responsible for the healthy business, development and successful movement of the company through specific business streams in accordance with the needs of modern society.
Through decades of growth and development, we have reached a team that currently consists of over 350 highly qualified workers - electricians, electrical technicians, auxiliary workers, of which over 30 are electrical engineers, of which 20 are licensed electrical engineers of high and low voltage, both authorized engineers for project development and execution of works, and authorized engineers for complex engineering facilities. With the exceptionally developed corporate culture and human resources capacity that we possess, we sincerely believe that we can successfully realize all the plans and goals set.
Long-term cooperation with numerous companies resulted in the signing of numerous contracts, and at the beginning of 2012, following trends and the development of new technologies with the intention of meeting all future market demands, equipped with all necessary equipment and tools, a specialized workshop for the production of medium-voltage and low-voltage cabinets for transformer stations, as well as various other distribution cabinets, began operating within the company.
During 2015, our company, as a renowned contractor, was engaged in the most significant infrastructure project in Montenegro – the construction of the Bar-Boljare highway, section Smokovac-Mateševo, where we concluded a series of contracts with the main contractor. On this project, we performed works and developed various projects in the field of high and low voltage, including automation works (BMS and EMP), etc.
In our wide range of facilities, we immodestly highlight lighting installations in tunnels, with special emphasis on the "Budoš" tunnel, where we implemented the first installation of LED lamps in the territory of Montenegro.
We are also proud of the work carried out to modernize the lighting system (installation of LED lamps) in the "Sozina" and "Raš" tunnels, including their access roads.
At the core of our work ethics and principles lies a permanent desire to gain new experience and knowledge, as well as to tackle new business challenges, which is, of course, evidenced by our contribution to the construction of the first wind farm "Krnovo" in Montenegro. During 2016, we carried out work on the aforementioned facility, laying high-voltage cables, connecting turbine cells, building an optical network for communication between turbines and the substation, making grounding on turbines, making high-voltage connectors for connecting turbines, etc.
Solar power plant "Vilusi 1"
Following modern trends and developments in the field of electricity production, the company "R-SOLAR" doo, respecting and appreciating the principles of green energy, decided to build the solar power plant "Vilusi 1", with an installed capacity of 4MW, which has the status of a local facility of general interest.
The construction, development and operation of the future power plant will be based on the principles of respecting the postulates of renewable sources of electricity, as healthy and sustainable sources, which as such are the future of the modern era and humanity. The power plant is being built in an attractive location, in the town of Vilusi, Nikšić municipality, along the busy main road Nikšić - Trebinje, and as such, will be a good example of healthy and rational use of space, with elements that are conducive to the preservation of the natural landscape.
Respect for existing biodiversity cultures and the principle of environmental protection is a principle and belief that is the starting and ending point of the project itself. The company opted for this type of investment, realizing that a socially responsible attitude towards electricity production is necessary. We are aware that ecological business is necessary in terms of creating a clean environment and sustainable development, as well as the fact that it is of utmost importance for man to harmonize with the nature that surrounds him in order to provide more suitable living conditions for future generations through reasonable and sober action. The guideline that the company follows and that guides us is the full implementation of this type of production, the vision to be an example of good practice and the creation of a generally healthy environment in the electricity production market.
Works on projects of public importance
During our presence on the market all these years, we have had the great honor, as well as the responsibility, to participate in the implementation of a wide variety of projects on the territory of Montenegro, and we have performed work on installations of high and low voltage as well as lighting in public, educational, health, and other facilities of public importance. From the numerous opus of facilities on which we have performed work, we will mention a few: Kotor Hospital, Cetinje Hospital, elementary schools in Podgorica, Spuž, Pljevlja, Plav, Rožaje, the building of the Ministry of Economy of Montenegro, the building of the Parliament of Montenegro, numerous facilities of leading retail chains in Montenegro, Luštica Bay, Porto Montenegro, Porto Novi, Hotel "Mamula", Hotel "Blue Kotor Bay", Hotel "Hilton", Hotel "Karisma", Kotor - Lovćen cable car, etc. We are proud of the fact that we can say that, in an electrical sense, we have breathed life into every significant project in Montenegro, from tunnel lighting, through electrical work on hotels to residential and commercial buildings.
