In anticipation of the new season, the Kotor-Lovćen cable car has joined forces with the NGO Center for Youth Education through the most popular youth project in Montenegro, the European Youth Card (EYCA), providing cardholders with special benefits to enjoy the leading tourist attraction in Montenegro. In addition, the Kotor-Lovćen cable car is opening its doors to young people who want to develop professionally and become part of its team.
EYCA card users will soon be able to take advantage of numerous benefits available within the Žičare complex. The European Youth Card (EYCA) is the only official and free benefit card in Montenegro, supported by the Ministry of Sports and Youth, which allows all Montenegrin citizens aged 13 to 29 to use more than 270 discounts in the country and over 30.000 discounts across Europe.
On the occasion of the signed agreement, Marco Cus, executive director of the Kotor-Lovćen cable car, said:
"We are proud that the Kotor-Lovćen cable car joins the rich list of EYCA partners, thus becoming part of a network that provides significant benefits to young people in Montenegro and Europe. However, our support does not stop there - this season we are opening the doors to young people who want to be part of our team, giving them the opportunity to gain valuable professional experience and develop skills that will be useful to them in the future. We look forward to hosting even more young visitors during the upcoming season, but we also eagerly await new colleagues who will further strengthen our team."
Jugoslav Radović, executive director of the NGO Center for Youth Education, invited young people to become users of the EYCA card and take advantage of all the benefits it provides:
"The European Youth Card (EYCA) provides young people not only with more affordable access to incredible experiences, but also opportunities for work and professional development. Cooperation with Žičar brings both - unforgettable rides at more affordable prices and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and attractive environment. I am pleased that we will join forces with renowned partners and I take this opportunity to invite young people to take advantage of the created benefits and be part of a unique team that combines nature, tourism and top-notch service."
The European Youth Card (EYCA) project in Montenegro has been implemented since 2018 by the NGO Center for Youth Education with the support and patronage of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, on behalf of the Government of Montenegro.
After transporting more than 290.000 passengers from all over the world last season, the Kotor-Lovćen cable car continues to improve its tourist offer, strengthen ties with the community, and promote the principles of sustainability and corporate social responsibility through strategic partnerships.
