Agromont is constantly growing and expanding its business both in Montenegro and in the markets of the Region. After successfully entering the Serbian market, opening grain purchasing centers in Šabac and Kovin with a total capacity of 50.000 tons, this new major investment and the takeover of one of the largest farms in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Agromont has become one of the leaders in the egg production market.
Agromont Company, founded in 1993 in Nikšić as an agricultural farm, today represents one of the most important companies in agriculture in our region, with a strong presence in the markets of Montenegro and Serbia. After successfully expanding its business in Serbia, Agromont decided to expand its capacities to the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina by taking over one of the largest farms for the production of table eggs.
This step represents a key strategy for further growth in production and distribution. The company continues to invest in technology modernization, increasing product quality, sustainability and innovation. Given the continuity of investments in domestic and regional resources, Agromont sets new standards for domestic agricultural production and shows that Montenegrin companies have the potential to successfully compete in the wider regional market.
By taking another important strategic step in expanding its business in the region, Agromont is slowly taking on a leadership position, setting new standards and promoting successful practices in this extremely important segment of the food production market.
"The farm in Milići has a capacity of 400.000 laying hens, and the acquired complex also includes a chicken farm with a capacity of 100.000 chickens per shift, a feed factory, and a gas station with a tank capacity of 50000 liters. This acquisition represents a logical continuation of Agromont's regional expansion, but also a significant moment for the domestic economy. At a time when market barriers are increasing, the entry of a Montenegrin company into multiple markets outside the borders of our country shows that domestic economic entities possess the knowledge, expertise, and commitment that make them competitive in the wider region." - emphasize representatives of the Agromont company.
Agromont is a positive example of successful, stable and strategically managed business. As a company that continuously invests in development, quality and sustainability, it shows that Montenegrin companies can not only compete with regional companies - but also set standards.
According to the company, the goal is further growth through the synergy of local resources, modern technologies and regional partnerships, while simultaneously strengthening domestic agriculture and creating new jobs.

"The purchase of the farm in Milići is a natural and strategic step for Agromont. Our goal has always been to ensure stability in the supply chain and complete quality control in all stages of production. In the past two years, we have invested significant funds in opening grain purchase centers in Šabac and Kovin, as well as technological modernization and increasing the production capacity of our animal feed factory in Spuž. In this way, we are not dependent on external factors, while at the same time creating a sustainable and efficient system that supports both our farms and the broader development plan.
By increasing the capacity of the animal feed factory, we enable stronger exports of our products in the region as well as logistical support to our plants, including the new farm in Milići, which further strengthens Agromont's position in the regional market. This growth is the result of long-term planning, investment in knowledge and the belief that domestic production can be competitive, not only in Montenegro, but also beyond," said Božidar Jokić, the owner of the company.
