Thanks to this donation, continuous educational and psychosocial support will be provided throughout the year for more than 40 children at the "Božidar Vuković Podgoričanin" Primary School in Podgorica. The "Friendship Classroom" program is currently being implemented at the "Milija Nikčević" Primary School in Nikšić and the "Marko Miljanov" Primary School in Bijelo Polje.
The donation agreement was signed by Lesia Vykhodtseva, President of the Board of Directors of Zapad Banka, Belkisa Zoronjić, Member of the Board of Directors of Zapad Banka, and Kristina Mihailović, Executive Director of the Parents Association.
"Over the past ten years, we have achieved significant business results, but we are especially proud that we have become a reliable partner of society, present even when support is needed most. Guided by these values, we supported the "Classroom of Friends" program, which will provide more than 40 children with better conditions for learning and development in an atmosphere of support and understanding. With this donation, we symbolically confirm that Zapad Bank continues to strengthen all initiatives that contribute to a better, fairer and more humane society," said Lesia Vykhodtseva, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Zapad Bank.
Zapad Banka will continue to contribute to creating better conditions for the development of the Montenegrin community.
"Supporting the education of children from socially vulnerable families has been one of the key goals of the Parents association for years, and starting this year we have decided to expand it to as many municipalities and schools in the country as possible. We would not have been able to carry out these activities without our partners, and we are pleased that Zapad Bank has decided to support us and the children in this way," said Mihailović.
Cooperation with the Parents Association on the implementation of the "Classroom-Friendship" program further confirmed the bank's role as a reliable partner that actively contributes to community development.
