The company doMEn doo, the registration agent for the national internet domain .ME, has announced public call for funding for STEAM competitions (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics), with the possibility of support of up to 30.000 euros per project.

With this call, we want to open a space for young people in Montenegro to show what they know, what they are good at and how they think. To apply the knowledge they have acquired in their country, express their creativity and think freely - through projects that combine science, art and technology.

Non-governmental organizations (NGOs), student organizations and associations, legal entities with experience in organizing educational events, as well as teams composed of adult individuals, have the right to participate. provided that they are registered as an NGO or act in partnership with a legal entity before signing the contract. Experience in working with youth and/or in STEAM fields is required, as well as the capacity to implement the competition. Initiatives under this call may be subject to full funding or co-financing. Support is open both to new projects seeking a lead donor and to existing initiatives that already have partners or other forms of support secured, either in financial form or through non-financial resources. In cases of co-financing, it is important that the doMEn company is the lead or majority donor in the overall financial structure of the project.

Acceptable formats are: competitions in robotics, programming, application development, scientific experiments, IoT solutions, digital art, generative art, AR/VR technologies, as well as artistic or musical creation. – in short, all formats that connect innovation and creative expression.

"Young people today don't want to choose between science and art - they want to connect them. STEAM is the answer to that need. That's why we don't see this adventure as a project, but as a process in which we grow together with a new generation that thinks, creates and changes the world," said Predrag Lešić, CEO of doMEn.

The company doMEn invites everyone who wants to contribute to community development through STEAM education to apply. and be part of a change that educates, inspires and empowers.

The Spark.me STEAM Adventure initiative is a continuation of doMEn’s long-standing mission to educate and empower young people. The STEAM model, now including art, builds on the traditional STEM approach, because today’s generations need more than just technical skills – they also need the freedom to create and connect ideas in new ways. This approach directly contributes to the development of Montenegro’s creative and technological economy, which is key to its long-term competitiveness and resilience.

The call is open until May 31, 2025., and the results will be announced on June 30, 2025. We invite everyone who has an idea, knowledge and will to contribute to the development of the community through STEAM - to apply and become part of this story. The text of the public call, the application form and the budgeting table are available on the website: www.steamedukacija.me .
