III Expert Consultations: Montenegro Strengthens Security Capacities

Organized by the Association of Security Managers of Montenegro, and with the support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Montenegro, the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Welfare of Montenegro and the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, the III Expert Consultations in the field of security were held in Budva on June 17, 2025. The event brought together experts from the public and private sectors, representatives of competent institutions, security structures and business entities, with the aim of strengthening inter-sectoral cooperation and improving professional standards.

The program was structured through five thematic units: protection of persons and property, protection and rescue, fire protection, occupational safety and safety behavior analysis, which were included in the program for the first time this year, following current challenges in the field of security.

The following participated in the block on fire protection and occupational safety:

• Zlatko Popović, Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Welfare

• Goran Samardžić, Head of the Technical Documentation Department of the Protection and Rescue Directorate

• Miroslav Jaredić, specialist in fire protection and occupational safety from the Association of Safety Managers of Montenegro

He spoke about the importance of behavioral security analysis in a corporate context:

• Mirko Zorić, trainer and founder of the Center for Behavioral Research "Valentis"

A special segment "Partnership in Practice" was dedicated to technical innovations and modern solutions in the field of equipment, surveillance and information technologies. Representatives of the company Antenall presented advanced Hikvision body and dash cameras, designed to improve the efficiency and transparency of the work of security services. Also, the Slovenian company CREAPLUS, a regional distributor of the information security platform CORO, presented a new platform for managing cyber risks and raising awareness about information security, intended for small and medium-sized organizations.
