This decision represents a logical continuation of the successful cooperation that began with the construction of the Kotor-Lovćen cable car, a capital infrastructure project, which in a short time has become one of the most recognizable tourist attractions in Montenegro, contributing to the development of sustainable tourism and better connectivity. the city of Kotor, under UNESCO protection, sa Lovćen National Park, one of the symbols of Montenegrin natural and cultural heritage.

This strategic acquisition for XEnergy is the crowning achievement of a multi-year partnership with Leitner on demanding infrastructure projects in the field of vertical transport in Montenegro and the region.
In addition to the Kotor-Lovćen cable car, completed in a record 13 months, and the gondola at the Kolašin ski resort, work is underway on the cable car to Đalovića Cave, one of the longest and best-preserved caves in Europe, as well as on the route from Igalo to the Ilinica viewpoint in Herceg Novi. There are also ongoing projects for six-seater cable cars at the Žarski (Mojkovac) and Cmiljača (Bijelo Polje) locations, which represent an important part of Montenegro's ski infrastructure.
The cooperation has since expanded beyond the borders of Montenegro, and the two companies are currently working on the construction of a cable car on the Red Descent on Sljeme near Zagreb, confirming their leadership position in the field of advanced mobility and sustainable infrastructure in the region.
