With more than 290.000 visitors from all over the world last year and strong interest that continues this summer, the Kotor–Lovćen cable car is celebrating its second birthday. On August 14th and 15th, visitors can expect special ticket prices for gondola rides, a rich program at the Upper Station, activities for children and discounts in bars!
Return ticket for adults during the birthday event it will cost 15 euros, while the ride will one way will be 9 euros. Persons with disabilities receive additional benefits: 7 euros for a return ticket i 4 euros one way.
Promotional tickets are valid only on August 14th and 15th, and can be purchased online or at the ticket office.
The birthday afternoon is especially reserved for the youngest. From 17 pm to 19 pm, activities with animators will be organized on the children's modular playground, the only one of its kind in Montenegro. While the children are having fun, parents can take a break, take a walk or enjoy the view.
At Monte Bar 1350, you can expect a DJ performance, relaxed summer rhythms and one of the most beautiful views of Boka Bay within the Žičare complex.
The evening program begins in the Forza restaurant area, where the audience will enjoy the performance. Milice Vujadinovic, a young Montenegrin composer and performer, who will perform the composition "Ode to Boka" with her ensemble.
The continuation of the program is reserved for the concert. Dejan Petrović i Big Band-a, one of the most famous brass bands in the region, whose performances bring strong energy and top-notch performance.
However, the birthday story, full of surprises, does not end there. For those who want to complete their stay on the cable car with a break or a souvenir, numerous discounts are available.
