Weekend celebrates its 18th birthday, fun is guaranteed

While the days at Weekend.18 are reserved for lectures, panels and discussions with leading global and regional experts, the nights are traditionally reserved for entertainment. The Weekend has been known for years for its unique blend of business networking and top-notch music, and it is the evening programs that give the festival its special energy.

Jazz meets birthday rhythm

The first night of the festival, on Thursday, September 18th, will bring a musical spectacle of jazz and funk. The audience will be warmed up by funk soul legend Tihomir Pop Asanović and friends, one of the most important funk artists from this region,. After him, DJ Stanko Bondža will celebrate The Weekend's 18th birthday with an energetic set that commemorates almost two decades of party culture.

Three stages, one unforgettable experience

Friday is reserved for a real explosion of musical styles. DJ Uros opens the evening with a dynamic set, while the second stage brings one of the biggest surprises of this year's festival, a performance by a world-class DJ star Jax Jones.

The festival brings the "WELCOME TO THE O-UNIVERSE" program in collaboration with partners Omoda & Jaecoo, and will be joined on stage by DJ Jay ZimmermannDJ Stanko Bondža will play again on the third stage, providing rhythms for those who want to stay until the early morning hours.

Back to the golden nineties

The third day of the festival, on Saturday, September 20th, begins with The Swingerse, a band known for its modern sound and retro charm. They will be followed by perhaps the most anticipated part of this year's program, a big 90's party called "Upss we did the 90's party!", organized by the Office for Ideas and Three Oh Two.

The stage will be dominated by legendary names from the domestic pop scene, Thais, Come on, Ilan Kabiljo, Blue Pokos i Ivana Banfić, and the dance floor will be kept in rhythm by DJ Stanko Bondža.

A combination of knowledge and fun that lasts until dawn

Weekend.18 once again confirms its uniqueness, bringing top-notch content and inspiration during the day, and transforming into the music center of the region at night. The festival offers visitors an even richer experience that combines business and private, knowledge and entertainment, formal conversations and spontaneous gatherings.

As the organizers emphasize: “In Rovinj, the best business conversations take place after midnight.” It is precisely this philosophy, which blurs the lines between conference and festival, that makes the Weekend a special event on the regional scene.
