The funds are earmarked for the purchase of a Doppler device for blood vessels, which will significantly improve the diagnostic capacities of this institution and enable faster and more precise health care for the citizens of Risan and the surrounding area. A portion of the funds is also intended for the purchase of additional computer equipment that will enable easier and faster functioning of the hospital information system.
The "Acts That Are Recognized" project was launched with the aim of directly influencing the quality of life in local communities throughout Montenegro through support to key institutions.
On the occasion of the donation presentation, representatives of the Bank and Visa emphasized the importance of synergy between the private sector and public institutions:

The cooperation between UCB Bank and Visa is based on a shared vision of social responsibility, we believe that investing in modern medical equipment is the best way to thank the community in which we operate. We hope that the new Doppler device at the Special Hospital for Orthopedics, Neurosurgery and Neurology 'Vaso Ćuković' will be a strong support for doctors in their daily work, and will enable patients to receive more efficient treatment without the need for long waits or trips to other centers. Humanity is not in what we say, but in what we do, and this donation in Risan is tangible proof of our commitment. We want citizens to feel that they are not alone and that the private sector stands by them, not only as a service provider, but as a true friend and support for society," concluded the representatives of Universal Capital Bank and Visa.
Hospital director and neurosurgeon Vlado Popović expressed great gratitude, emphasizing that such initiatives directly raise the standard of healthcare provision:
"I would like to thank the UCB management for once again showing what socially responsible business means, recognizing the importance of our institution for our healthcare system. This donation will enable us to purchase an ultrasound machine with which we will complete the diagnostic range of our neurological department, and to provide young doctors who will soon return from their specialization with the working conditions they had at prestigious clinics, where they completed their specialization in Neurology."
