After Podgorica, a national campaign Supporting Print Media in Montenegro continues in Budva, where today, from 12 to 14 p.m., the Mega Mesh, to hold a public event dedicated to the importance of print media and professional journalism. The first 100 visitors to the stand in Mega Mall will receive a book or coloring book as a gift.
Budva citizens and visitors will have the opportunity to talk to journalists and representatives of newsrooms, learn how news is created, why verified information is important, and why print media still play a significant role in informing the public.
Within the daily newspapers for that day, there will be printed a special game for readers "Read, Think, Decide", designed as a tool for better understanding news, verified information, and professional journalistic standards, while encouraging conversation and critical thinking.
During the event there will be free copies of daily newspapers, as well as campaign promotional materials, including coloring books and books provided by editorial offices news, Wins i dana, while citizens will be encouraged to support professional and responsible journalism through regular newspaper purchases. Special focus will be on conversations with readers and exchange of opinions on the role of the media in modern society.
Campaign Supporting Print Media in Montenegro, which is supported by the European Union, aims to raise awareness about the importance of professional, responsible and editorially independent journalism, as well as to encourage citizens to recognize the value of verified information and support print media.
The event in Budva is part of a series of public activities organized throughout Montenegro, with the intention of bringing journalism closer to citizens - through conversation, meeting and direct communication.
