The Executive Director of the company "Megapromet", Balša Mitrović, thanked the Fund for Active Citizenship for the award, emphasizing that for this company it represents confirmation of its long-standing responsible relationship with the community in which it operates.
"We see this recognition as confirmation that over the years we have chosen the right path - the path of responsibility, work and respect for the community," said Mitrović, addressing the audience, which included representatives of the Fund for Active Citizenship, the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro and the Ćano Koprivica Foundation.
He emphasized that the company "Megapromet" grew together with the environment in which it operates, especially highlighting Budva as a place where they built their business, but also took on social responsibility. According to him, the true values of a company are not measured solely by business results, but by their attitude towards people and the environment.
Mitrović dedicated the award to the company's employees, partners and friends, stating that it is a joint success of all those who have given the "human face" to Megapromet over the years. He particularly emphasized the belief that a business that does not serve the community in which it grows has no real value.
"The true meaning of every business success is to leave a mark that goes beyond numbers - to help those in need and bring hope, a smile or a sense of security," he said, adding that true happiness is not measured by what is accumulated, but by what is shared.
In the emotional part of his address, Mitrović especially thanked his father, Miodrag Mišo Mitrović, the founder of the company, emphasizing that the values on which Megapromet was founded - honest work, responsibility and solidarity - are still the foundation of its business today.
Finally, he expressed his gratitude to his family members, emphasizing that without their support it would not have been possible to achieve the results achieved so far. "This recognition further obliges us to continue to work responsibly, dedicatedly and in accordance with the values on which Megapromet was founded," concluded Mitrović.
