Today, the Trebjesa Brewery celebrates a great jubilee - 130 years of brewing tradition, the bearer of which is one of the most famous Montenegrin brands - Nikšić beer, with a reputation acquired, knowledge, dedication and enthusiasm of generations that, in the best tradition of brewing, have paved the way for success beyond the borders of Montenegro.
International recognition when it comes to quality was first confirmed in 1932 in France, when Nikšićko was awarded the Charter of the City of Paris, the Golden Cross and the Gold Medal. Numerous domestic and international awards followed in the following decades, and Nikšićko was recently awarded a gold medal at the world's most prestigious beer selection - Monde Selection, as it has been many times before.
Throughout its history, the Trebjesa Brewery has gone through numerous challenges, including destruction in both world wars. Despite this, it has been repeatedly renovated and modernized, and after World War II it became one of the most important industrial collectives in the country - a status it has maintained to this day.
In the modern, ever more challenging market, only those brands that know how to preserve their mark, but also keep up with innovations, remain leaders. For three decades, Trebjesa Brewery has been part of the world's largest brewing groups, which has provided domestic expertise with additional knowledge, modern standards and a breadth of experience.
On a journey where the past, present, and future intertwine, it's not easy to remain authentic. Nikšićko has succeeded in that - to always be current and relevant and to create lasting connections with its consumers.
By intertwining everything that is part of the rich brewing tradition and the spirit of today, an anniversary campaign is born naturally. "Time flies, Nikšić is pouring", which, in a humorous way, depicts the collision of eras, reminding us that the world is changing, but that the values by which Nikšić is recognized live equally in all times.
Check out the anniversary campaign.
