At the event that brought together club representatives, cooperation agreements were signed and activities that will mark the year 2026 were agreed upon. The value of the total support through the project is €49.000.

The support includes clubs from multiple sports and regions of Montenegro: continued cooperation with FK Karioke, PVK Budućnost One, Karate Club Podgorica from Podgorica, FK Breznica from Pljevlja, RK Lovćen from Cetinje and FK Arsenal from Tivat, as well as the inclusion of new clubs — OK Libero and KK Lovćen from Cetinje, KK Kotor, FK Berane and FK Stari Aerodrom from Podgorica.

The youngest members of these clubs are more than 1000 boys and girls.

"Sport is much more than a game — it teaches children values that shape them for life: teamwork, responsibility, perseverance and fair play. We are proud that through the 'Sport for Youth' project we support clubs that create conditions every day for children to grow up healthy, active and surrounded by the right role models. Our role in the community is not only financial — it is a partnership and long-term one. We want to be with clubs, coaches, parents and, above all, with children who are the future of Montenegro," he said. Martin Leberle, Chairman of the Board of Directors of NLB Bank.

With this project, NLB wants to further strengthen the importance of sports among children, but also to support clubs that create a safe, healthy and stimulating environment for the younger generations. As part of the project, clubs and children also get the opportunity to participate in joint educational workshops on financial literacy, which makes the project a unique combination of sports and education.

During 2026, joint gatherings and club trainings will be organized, educational workshops for children on the topic of responsible money management, joint socially responsible activities, as well as a final event that brings together all clubs from the project.
